Because Every Child Deserves to Thrive
Every child who walks through our school gates deserves the same opportunity to learn, grow, and belong. But the reality is that some of our students arrive each day without lunch — not because anyone stopped caring, but because some families are quietly doing it tough. Tartan Hearts was born out of a simple belief: that a community which looks after its children is a stronger community for everyone.
Tartan Hearts is our school community's fund, created to provide direct support to students in need. Every dollar and every item donated stays within our school and goes straight to making sure no child has to face the school day hungry. It is not a government program or an outside charity — it is us, looking out for each other. Parents, staff, and community members coming together to make sure every child has what they need to show up, focus, and feel like they belong.
We believe it takes a community to raise a child, and Tartan Hearts is proof of that in action. Whether you are able to give a little or a lot, your contribution makes a real and immediate difference to a child in our school. Together, we can make sure that no student is left behind.
Donate via Flexischools
Next time you order your child's lunch through Flexischools, you can add a donation to Tartan Hearts at the same time. It takes just a few extra seconds and goes directly to supporting students in need.
Donate Food Directly
You can drop off shelf-stable, healthy food items directly to the Tuckshop. We love receiving things like tuna, muesli bars, plain popcorn, oats, sultanas, and similar wholesome staples — check out the full list of ideas with photos below. Please keep in mind that we are unable to accept sugary snacks, biscuits, or drinks, as we want to make sure every child receives something nourishing.
